"The Crossing is a novel realization of ubiquitous computing
and culture illustrating how cutting edge notions of technology
can be used to reveal the world's perennial knowledge. A great
example illustrating
how interface design reacts to and becomes personalized by
the culture in which it is situated in. A pioneering attempt
to bring traditional arts and aesthetics into the
modern design discourse".

"There is an abundance of riches in the traditions and spiritual
wisdom of cultures
all over the world that many of us ignore
as much as we ignore the certainty of death. "The Crossing"
is a project that can remind
us who we are and what we are made of".

"This evening my wife and I explored The Crossing Project
exhibit at the Asia Society in New York. I must tell you that
it was one of the most enriching museum displays I've ever
experienced. And 'experience' is the proper word for describing
this work. The depth of the Banaras experience (as well as
the Shaivite tradition) was displayed, explained, and reinforced
through innovative tools and technology.
All I can say is that we want more!
Thank you for enhancing our lives -- we look forward to your
next project!"
