The user can, from the exhibit's spaces, manipulate remote cameras and robotics arms in Banaras, e.g., manipulating a hand held box painted with a particular architectural motif causes the web based camera in banaras to focus on a temple constructed in similar architectural style. Still other commands allows the user to participate in events in banaras, e.g. take part in ceremonies and make offerings of flowers in the gangs through telerobotics. The resulting image of the events , places in banaras are sent back through the net back to the exhibit, and projected on display screens in the exhibit's spaces.

In the future, one can visualize manipulating remote devices on connecting to remote places as part and parcel of office and home based activities. The projection technology and spatial enclosures described earlier addresses the issue of creating a physical semblance of the distributed place in offices and homes.
